Come spend the summer at the farm with us! Our Summer Camp introduces kids to horseback riding through fun, engaging sessions that include riding, grooming, crafts, and a variety of barn activities. Open to horse lovers ages 5 to 14.

No prior experience required.

Hands On Horse Fun All Summer Long

Learn the fundementals

As part of our summer camp programs, Tower Hill Stables provides qualified riding instructors, experienced horses, and an excellent facility to create a welcoming environment where campers can build a strong foundation in horsemanship, improve their riding skills, and enjoy riding alongside their friends. The core priorities of our programs are safety, fun, and skill development.

Summer Camp

Each camp day includes a combination of riding instruction and unmounted learning. Campers will rotate through activities that include:

  • Daily riding lessons

  • Grooming, tacking, and basic horse care

  • Learning about horse behavior, safety, and barn etiquette

  • Fun games and group activities

  • Teamwork, confidence building, and making new friends

 

Our experienced instructors tailor instruction to each rider’s ability level, ensuring a safe and encouraging experience for beginner through advanced beginner riders. Even intermediate level riders enjoy our summer camp!

​Before and After care is available for families who need early drop-off or late pick-up. This option allows campers to spend an extra hour or two at the farm in a safe, supervised environment. Before and After Care must be booked and paid for directly through the website and can be reserved up to one hour before the scheduled start time.​​

Riding Lessons

Every camper will receive a 45min - 1hr group riding lesson daily! These lessons are an excellent opportunity to build a solid riding foundation. Kids get to practice their skills along with playing horseback games and practicing patterns/obstacles.

Games & Crafts

From tie-dye to painting, capture the flag to scavenger hunts- every day of camp includes new and exciting ways to get creative and enjoy the outdoors!

Lunch

Amidst a busy and fun-filled day, lunch can be a great time for campers to get to know each other and build relationships. This time often becomes a favorite, especially when accompanied by camp songs and silly games.

 Please bring a sack lunch and water.

Horse Care 

Here at Tower Hill, we believe horsemanship is far more than just riding. During camp, kids get to learn grooming/tacking, basic veterinary care, bathing, and more!

Riding helmets are required and can be provided by Tower Hill Stables.
