Summer Schooling Series is a friendly and welcoming show circuit designed for riders who are just beginning their show career or those looking for a more relaxed yet still competitive atmosphere. It’s an affordable way to gain experience, build confidence, and grow in the sport without the pressure of higher-level circuits. Riders can accumulate points throughout the season, leading to an exciting year-end awards banquet to celebrate their hard work and achievements. We encourage all our riders to start at this level as they take their first steps into the show ring!

The Northern Illinois Hunter Jumper Association (NIHJA) circuit offers a higher level of competition for dedicated riders ready to take the next step. With shows spanning three days instead of two, competitors travel to multiple venues and face more advanced classes. Riders must be at the top of their game, as both horse and rider need greater skill and capability to succeed. Courses are more elaborate, and the competition is tougher, but it’s also an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. The NIHJA circuit fosters a strong sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making every show an opportunity to grow, connect, and celebrate achievements together.
